Air Conditioning: Cooling and heating device
Can you imagine buying a car without air conditioning?
It’s become an unquestionable standard that has been widely accepted.
Similarly, in our homes, where we spend considerable time working, relaxing, and sleeping, the necessity of air conditioning has become indispensable.
The changing climate in our area is prompting a shift in perspective regarding home air conditioning, transforming it from a perceived luxury to an essential standard, much like it is in automobiles.
Properly installed and operated air conditioning significantly improves air quality and, therefore, the comfort of everyday life.
How to use an air conditioner to create a friendly atmosphere?
Let’s learn more about its functions.
Heating and Cooling
The basic function of an air conditioner is, of course, cooling, which is necessary especially during the summer heat. Thanks to it, we can effectively lower the temperature in the room, adjusting it to our own preferences. However, it is worth remembering to properly set the air conditioning, which should be adjusted to the outside temperature. It is recommended that the difference between the temperature inside and outside does not exceed 7 degrees. Why? Too much cooling of the room relative to the surroundings may lead to thermal shock, lowering the body’s immunity and, consequently, to diseases such as colds or sinusitis.
Taking into account the unstable weather conditions in our country, it is worth taking care of the temperature balance in our houses or apartments. For this purpose, another function of the air conditioner is useful, which is heating. All modern air conditioners are equipped with this function, which involves using the opposite effect to cooling, i.e. heating rooms with warm air. We can use it both in winter and in the transitional months, when the temperature is high during the day but drops at night. In addition to quick heating of the room (just minutes after turning on the device), it is worth paying attention to other benefits resulting from use, such as the possibility of using it all year round, lower costs compared to electric heating (approximately 1/3 of comparable costs), and the possibility of using they contain anti-dust and anti-mite filters.
Air purification
The problem of polluted air affects us not only outdoors while walking, but also in our own homes and apartments. Smog enters rooms, excess carbon dioxide and water vapor produced during breathing, cooking, washing and other daily activities. These pollutants negatively affect the air quality in our homes and apartments. To minimize the risk of excessive pollution, it is worth using an air conditioner equipped with an air purification function. This device monitors the level of contaminants 24 hours a day and removes them immediately.

An important element of this process are various types of filters (depending on the model and available additional options), including:
- Active carbon filter: effectively eliminates harmful chemicals, pollen and dust.
- Filter with silver ions: effectively removes bacteria and other harmful microorganisms, preventing their reproduction.
- Antibacterial filter: sterilizes the air, eliminates bacteria, viruses and mites.
- Catechin filter: neutralizes dangerous bacteria, viruses and mites, while refreshing the air.
- Ionizer: removes bacteria by generating negative ions that attract and neutralize harmful substances.
Air dehumidification
Additionally, the air conditioner can dehumidify the air, which is especially important in the case of excessive humidity in rooms. Excess moisture favors the development of fungi, molds and pathogenic bacteria. The air conditioner’s dehumidification function allows you to remove moisture from the air by condensing it and draining it outside or to the nearest water drain. This collected water can even be used to water plants. Thanks to this process, we eliminate excess moisture, prevent the growth of fungi, and can also use the collected liquids. In addition, the drying function works perfectly when drying laundry, regardless of changes in room temperature.
Air humidification
Some air conditioner models are equipped with a humidification function that uses moisture taken from the atmospheric air. Such moisturizing helps prevent dry throat and dry skin, creating a pleasant microclimate that directly affects our health.
In addition, there are many other features available in air conditioning systems, depending on the specific model of the device.
For example, the Auto Clean function automatically removes moisture from the radiator, removing impurities and extending the life of the unit, the night mode reduces the noise level when the air conditioner is operating, and the motion sensor switches the device to energy-saving mode when it does not detect the presence of people in the room. All these amenities mean that air conditioners are increasingly chosen by people who want to create a healthy space in their homes or apartments. Especially now, when we spend a significant part of our time there, both while working remotely and after working hours.
